Eddie Porter was born in Keflavic, Iceland during the spring of 1983. He graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, FL and then moved up to New York City shortly after. He now lives in Brooklyn and works as freelance Compositor / Matte Painter for various studios in New York City. In 2008 Eddie Porter received a NY Emmy for his visual effects work on the 'Butterfly Elegance' commercial. Eddie is also a member of the Visual Effects Society. When he is not clicking keys and sliding wacom pens around he is trying to figure out the best way to survive an apocalyptic disaster.
